What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
